The Mamba is famously known as one of the most understable distance drivers on the market, engineered to help players achieve massive flights with minimal throwing effort. By molding this classic shape in the visually stunning Halo Champion plastic, Innova has created a disc that is incredibly durable and exceptionally beautiful. This unique blend typically adds a touch of stability to the notoriously flippy mold, making it a highly dependable hyzer-flip machine for power throwers and a gorgeous, sweeping distance booster for moderate arms. Operating on official ratings of Speed: 11, Glide: 6, Turn: -5, and Fade: 1, it naturally wants to flip up and ride right (for a RHBH throw). Because of the Halo Champion plastic, expect this run to fight back just a bit more at the end of its flight compared to standard Star or DX runs.

Speed

Glide

Turn

Fade

11

6

-5

1

How the Halo Champion Mamba shapes your game:

Moderate Arm Speeds: It acts as an incredible distance-booster. It utilizes the legendary, ultra-tough Champion plastic but applies the "Halo" manufacturing process, creating a vibrant, contrasting rim that blends seamlessly into a translucent flight plate. This process inherently creates a slightly higher parting line, which translates to a touch of added stability. You get a disc that looks like glass, holds its original flight characteristics practically forever, and offers a slightly more predictable finish than standard runs.

Explore Other Mamba Plastics

The Mamba is molded in a vast array of plastic types to fit different grip preferences and stability needs. The Halo manufacturing process usually results in a slightly more overstable disc. While the Mamba is still incredibly understable, the Halo Champion version will fight back just a bit more at the end of its flight, making it an excellent hyzer-flip choice that won't immediately burn over into the ground.

Is the Halo Champion Mamba good for beginners?

The Mamba mold itself is highly recommended for beginners because its high-speed turn helps newer players push their distance. However, because the Halo Champion plastic adds a bit of stability and is quite stiff, absolute beginners with very slow arm speeds might find the standard Star Mamba slightly easier to flip up initially.

How durable is Halo Champion plastic?

Halo Champion is one of the most durable plastic blends Innova produces.
