Mint Discs Idol Flight Numbers: 13, 5, -1, 2.5

The Idol Has Arrived—Flat, Fast, and Fierce

The Mint Discs Idol marks a bold new chapter in Mint’s lineup—ushering in a high-speed distance driver built for raw power and long, controlled flights. Manufactured by Prodigy Disc in Georgia, this partnership signals the beginning of a new manufacturing era for Mint, and the Idol leads the charge.

Boasting flight numbers of 13 | 5 | -1 | 2.5, the Idol slots in as a stable-to-overstable bomber capable of handling torque without dumping early. Whether you're launching forehands into the wind or hammering full-power backhands, the Idol offers confident control with a consistent finish.

Armory Disc Golf believes the Idol is a modified take on the Prodigy Falcor. Both discs share nearly identical PDGA technical specs, and visually, they’re nearly twins. The difference? Neither Mint nor Prodigy has confirmed this, and we're also betting that there’s a degree of manufacturing differences that make them unique.

About Apex Plastic
Apex plastic from Mint is an opaque, slightly firmer blend made by Prodigy and most comparable to their opaque 400 plastics. Its stiffness provides a clean, consistent release while still maintaining enough grip for confident power shots. Apex excels in warm-weather play, where its firmness offers extra control and stability without feeling slick. Compared to the MVP made counterpart, it is slightly gummier.
