Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2026 Factions

CHOOSE YOUR SIDE

In addition to playing for yourself individually you will also choose one of three "factions" to represent in TDTG 2026, with your performance earning points for your chosen side throughout the year. Choose your team at registration then lead them to victory!

This is a "for fun" addition to TDTG and does not affect your individual points or standings. We DO encourage players to join in on the smack talk and belittlement of any opposing factions throughout the year as we play together

Whichever faction has the most number of division winners at Gold/Platinum Tier events will receive 750/1500 bonus points. If both factions win the same number of divisions, the tiebreaker will be the MPO winner for that event.

 

FACTIONS

Redguard- The Redguard do not wait for greatness- they rise to claim it. From their towering citadels to the untamed wilds of Vastorum, they carry themselves with confidence and pride. To the Redguard, competition is a proving ground, and every victory is earned.

Driven by instinct and fueled by adrenaline, they thrive in volatility and force the game into uncomfortable territory. From frontier wilds to skyports and scrapyard cities, they build fast, adapt faster, and turn chaos into opportunity.

They don’t wait for the safe play. They attack. They trust the read, commit to the line, and live with the result. Momentum is their weapon. Risk is their fuel.

Players drawn to the Outlanders embrace unpredictability, force the action when others hesitate, and believe the bold move is often the right one.

 

The Covenant- Where others chase force or impulse, the Covenant pursues victory through precision and mastery. They study patterns, refine technique, and turn preparation into execution. From their elevated sanctums and arcane halls, they cultivate clarity others overlook.

The Covenant believes skill is the ultimate advantage. Every angle is calculated. Every decision intentional. They don’t need chaos or brute force- they win through understanding.
