Really awesome collector set, bought from a top-notch shop with excellent customer service!

I left an earlier review and can’t edit but wanted to add my experience. Dustin reached out personally almost immediately, in addition to responding to the comments, and took complete ownership of the unfortunate situation. He was apologetic and acknowledged the learning experience from this.

While it doesn’t change the fact I was unable to participate in the earlier release, I was taken aback by his commitment to engaging with customers even when things didn’t go quite right. It’s honorable and uncommon in today’s society, especially for online retailers.

Release time was moved up an hour right before release. The site has said release at 12 am CST on August 28 for weeks, just to be released an hour earlier. A reputable seller should make sure they don’t list multiple different release times

You’re right that we should not have conflicting release times listed, and I apologize for the confusion.

The release time was not intentionally moved up right before launch, but we did have conflicting time zones listed on the product page. Because of that, some customers were expecting the release at 12:00 AM Central, while the product actually went live at 12:00 AM Eastern / 11:00 PM Central.

That mistake was on me, Dustin, and I completely understand why it was frustrating, especially with such a limited release.

We’re updating our release process so future product pages, emails, and announcements all show one clear release time.

Changing the time really messed this up, along with it for the average purchaser. It’s 2026, instant sellout doesn’t mean organic buyers it means bots.

Can’t wait to see third-party sellers jack up the price and resell these.

I completely understand the frustration. With a release this limited, the time zone mistake made an already difficult release even more frustrating, and that part is on me, Dustin.

That said, I do want to clarify that this was not a case of one or two resellers clearing out inventory. We had 150 boxes available, they sold out in about 3 minutes, and the largest single order was 4 boxes. Most orders were much smaller than that.

These were genuinely in extremely high demand, and many retailers only received around 50 boxes total. That does not make the release-time mistake any less frustrating, but I do want to be transparent that the demand was real.
