Flight Numbers & Performance

The original Slammer mold returns with highly dependable flight numbers of 3 | 2 | 0 | 3. It gives you the confidence to attack the basket aggressively, cast off loose strokes, and make approaching a walk in the park.

How the Slammer dominates the short game:

  • Maximum Torque Resistance: Throw it as hard as you want. The Slammer refuses to flip over, making it the perfect tool for headwinds and high-power approach shots.
  • Thumb Track Grip: The distinct groove on the top flight plate offers exceptional thumb placement, providing consistent releases for both backhand and forehand grips.
  • Predictable Finish: It glides straight for a short period before executing a reliable, heavy fade to the basket, limiting past-the-pin gliding errors.

Classic Blend Burst Plastic

Classic Blend is the perfect combination of grip and flexibility in the Dynamic Discs Classic plastic series. If Classic Soft is too soft and standard Classic is too hard, you reach for the Blend! This specific release features the stunning "Burst" visual effect, where two colors are mixed in a variation of streaks to bring life to the disc. Patterns and color combinations are unique for each individual disc, ensuring your Slammer looks as good as it throws.

Original Slammer vs. Sockibomb Slammer

Players familiar with Dynamic Discs know that the Slammer name carries weight. This release is the Original Slammer mold, which differs slightly from the newer Ricky Wysocki collaboration:

  • The Original Slammer (3/2/0/3): Features a slightly shallower profile. It offers a bit more mid-flight glide (2) and a slightly less aggressive finish (3) compared to its successor.
  • The Sockibomb Slammer (3/1/0.5/4): Pairs a Westside Discs Harp bottom with a Slammer thumb-track top. It is deeper, noticeably more overstable, and fights out of any anhyzer angle almost immediately with extreme fade.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Classic, Classic Blend, and Classic Soft?

Dynamic Discs' baseline plastics offer a spectrum of stiffness. Classic is the firmest and stiffest. Classic Soft is highly flexible and absorbs impact to prevent skips. Classic Blend sits right in the middle, offering a perfect compromise of firm structural support and tactile, grippy flexibility.

Is the Original Slammer good for forehands?

Yes! The flat top and distinct thumb track provide an incredibly comfortable place to rest your thumb, giving sidearm players exceptional control and a clean, flutter-free release on touch approach shots.

Why does my Burst disc look different from the picture?

The Burst injection process mixes two colors to create unique streaks and patterns. Because of the manufacturing process, no two Burst discs look exactly the same, making every single Slammer a unique piece.
