Flight Numbers & Performance
The Mamba features radical flight numbers of Speed: 11, Glide: 6, Turn: -5, and Fade: 1. It is engineered to naturally stay aloft and soar. However, players should expect the Halo Star version to fight back just a bit more at the end of its flight compared to standard Star or DX runs.

How the Halo Star Mamba fits your game by arm speed:
- Moderate Arm Speeds: It acts as an incredible distance-booster, keeping the disc flat and gliding longer before a gentle finish. The Halo plastic gives it just enough integrity to avoid an accidental "throwler" (throw-roller).
- Advanced Players & High Power: Medium-to-strong arms consider the Halo Mamba a "secret weapon." It is perfect for effortless, booming hyzer flips that stand up and ride straight for days, or for long, panning turnover shots that hold the rightward drift.
- Wind Warning: The Mamba is a tailwind bomber! Because it is fundamentally understable, throwing it into a stiff headwind is still discouraged, though the Halo plastic will handle a mild breeze better than baseline plastics.
The Halo Star Plastic Advantage
Innova's Halo Star plastic is visually stunning, featuring a vibrant, contrasting outer rim (the "Halo") perfectly blended into a brightly colored center flight plate. Beyond its premium, grippy feel in the hand, Halo plastic is highly sought after for its flight properties. The manufacturing process naturally creates a disc with a slightly higher parting line, which translates to a touch of added stability. You get the incredible durability and grip of standard Star plastic, plus a more dependable, wind-resistant flight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Halo Star Mamba fly differently than the standard Star Mamba?
Yes. Halo Star plastic typically adds a noticeable touch of stability to the mold. While a standard Star Mamba might flip over completely if thrown too hard, the Halo Star version will fight back just a bit more, making it an incredible hyzer-flip disc for players with faster arm speeds.
Is the Halo Mamba a good disc for beginners?
The Mamba mold itself is fantastic for beginners because its high-speed turn helps newer players achieve more distance. However, because the Halo plastic adds stability, absolute beginners or players with very slow arm speeds might find the standard Star or DX Mamba slightly easier to throw initially.
What is Halo Star plastic?
Halo Star is a premium Innova plastic blend that takes their famous Star plastic and injects a contrasting color around the outer rim. It provides excellent grip, top-tier durability, incredible visual appeal, and usually results in a slightly more overstable flight than traditional Star plastic.
