Streamline Channel (Coming Soon)

The Streamline Channel is officially on the horizon! Recently approved by the PDGA on August 31, 2026, this brand new control driver from Streamline Discs (MVP's solo-mold lineup) has the disc golf world buzzing. Designed to be your new go-to workhorse off the tee, early feedback suggests it flies like a perfect hybrid of an Innova Teebird and an Eagle. While we wait for the official stock drop, bookmark this page and keep an eye on our full Streamline Collection so you don't miss out on release day!

Anticipated Flight Numbers & Performance

MVP hasn't stamped the official flight numbers on the Channel just yet. However, based on its 1.8 cm rim thickness and early feedback from the pros, we expect this to land right around a fast 7-speed or a controllable 8-speed driver. Current community estimates peg the flight right around 7.5 | 4.5 | -0.5 | 2.

Speed (Est.) Glide (Est.) Turn (Est.) Fade (Est.)
7.5 4.5 -0.5 2

How the Channel shapes up on the course:

  • The Teebird x Eagle Mix: If you really power up on the Channel, you get a tiny bit of shapeable, high-speed panning (like an Eagle) without having to worry about it burning over into a roller.
  • Reliable Finish: As it slows down, it kicks in with a biting but forward-pushing fade (like a Teebird) to ensure you land safely near the pin.
  • The Perfect Pair: Shaping up to be a stable to slightly overstable fairway driver, it sits perfectly in your bag as the beefier complement to your understable Streamline Drift.

Official PDGA Specifications

While we wait for MVP's official plastic options and flight numbers, the PDGA technical standards give us a great look at the physical profile of the Channel:

  • Diameter: 21.2 cm
  • Height: 1.5 cm
  • Rim Thickness (Width): 1.8 cm
  • Rim Depth: 1.1 cm
  • Max Weight: 176.0 grams

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the Streamline Channel release?

The Channel officially received its PDGA certification on August 31, 2026. Right now, it is listed as "Coming Soon," and MVP has not yet announced an official stock release date. Check back often for updates!

What does the Streamline Channel fly like?

Early word from players like Silas puts the Channel right in that workhorse control driver slot. It is described as an Innova Teebird and Eagle mix—meaning you can rip on it for a little bit of high-speed turn, but you can always trust it to finish with a reliable, forward-pushing fade.

Is the Streamline Channel an overmold disc?

No! Streamline Discs is a brand produced by MVP Disc Sports that focuses exclusively on traditional, single-mold (solo-mold) discs. You get the incredible premium plastic and manufacturing quality of MVP without the GYRO® overmold rim.
