What are "Storage Wear" Discs?
Along with our standard used trade-ins, you will find special "Storage Wear" discs in this collection. These are brand-new, unthrown discs from top brands like MVP and Discraft that picked up minor cosmetic scuffs or scratches while sitting on the warehouse racks. Because they aren't flawless, we stamp them with an exclusive Armory mini-stamp and slash the price. They fly exactly like new factory plastic, but you get them for a fraction of the cost.
How We Grade: The Sleepy Scale
To ensure you know exactly what is showing up at your door, we grade our pre-owned inventory strictly using the industry-standard Sleepy Scale. Because we focus on premium, highly throwable plastic in the $10–$12 range, you will primarily see top-tier grades in our bin:
| 10/10 | Brand new, never thrown, no ink. (Rarely found in the used bin!) |
| 9/10 | Field tested. May have minor storage wear, but looks and flies practically new. No ink. |
| 8/10 | Lightly used. Very minimal wear, perhaps one or two minor scuffs. May have light or faded rim ink. |
| 7/10 | Standard used condition. Noticeable scuffs, typical ground wear, or minor tree hits, but the flight characteristics are completely intact. Often contains ink. |
| 6/10 & Below | We generally do not sell these. We skip the heavily gouged, warped, or excessively beat-up plastic so you only receive quality gear. |

How do I know what condition the used disc is in?
We use the standard 1-10 Sleepy Scale for our used discs. The condition rating and weight are listed on every individual product page, and the photo you see is the exact disc you are buying.
Are the "Storage Wear" discs actually used?
No. Our Storage Wear discs have never been thrown. They are brand-new discs that suffered minor cosmetic scuffs during shipping or storage. We add a custom mini-stamp to them and discount them heavily so you can get premium plastic on a budget.
Can I trade in my used discs at Armory Disc Golf?
Yes! If you are local to the College Station area, bring your old plastic into the physical shop. We will take a look at your stack and offer you store credit so you can cycle out your old bag for fresh gear.
