Discraft Terminator
The Complete Discraft Terminator Collection Hub
The Discraft Terminator is Discraft's newest overstable distance driver, built with Team Discraft's most powerful throwers. It handles torque, wind and aggressive release angles, but it still has the glide to keep pushing down the fairway before it fades. Find it with the rest of our distance drivers collection, or browse the full Discraft Discs Collection.
Understanding the Flight Dynamics & Stability
At 12 | 5 | -1 | 3, the Terminator is fast and overstable with real glide. Discraft built the dome into the mold instead of leaving it to the cooling process, and packed more weight into the nose, so it keeps its speed and carries further than a Force before it starts to fade. It's 21.1 cm across and 1.8 cm tall, with a 1.2 cm rim depth and a 2.3 cm rim, and it was PDGA approved on February 23, 2026.
What the Terminator brings to your game:
- Forward Push: It holds its speed and keeps working down the fairway instead of dumping early.
- Torque Resistance: Rip it backhand or forehand into the wind and it won't turn over.
- Dependable Fade: It finishes with a strong fade every time and lands with enough angle for good skip shots.
Choose the Right Terminator Plastic
Each plastic gives the Terminator a different feel:
- Z Line Terminator - Discraft's clear, ultra-tough Z Line plastic. It holds its stability the longest and is the go-to daytime Terminator.
- Mega Glo Terminator - Discraft's brightest glow plastic, from the 2026 USDGC. It's built a lot like Z Line with a slightly tackier feel, and it flies a touch more overstable.
How the Terminator Plays on the Course
Power throwers bag the Terminator as their trusted overstable bomber: headwind drives, power forehands, and flex lines where they need it to come back every time. Players with less arm speed can still use it as a utility disc to get around corners, skip in, or fight a crosswind. If you want a little more distance and don't mind needing more power, step up to the Discraft Nuke. If you want an earlier, harder fade, grab the Discraft Force.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Discraft Terminator
What's the difference between the Z Line and Mega Glo Terminator?
Same mold and flight numbers. Z Line plastic is clear and very durable. Mega Glo plastic glows for night rounds, has a slightly tackier feel, and usually flies a touch more overstable.
What weight Terminator should I get for wind?
Heavier Terminators, around 173 to 175 grams, are the best for headwinds and power forehands. Lighter ones are a little easier to get up to speed. Every disc on our site is scale-weighed, so you pick the exact weight.
Is the Discraft Terminator good for beginners?
Not as a main driver. It's an overstable 12 speed, so newer players will see it fade out early. It's still a useful utility disc for skips and hard fades once you start working on forehands and wind shots.
