Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Neutron Hex so popular?
The Neutron Hex is popular because it offers an incredibly true, neutral flight path (5/5/-1/1) combined with a highly ergonomic, flat-topped profile. It lacks the deep rim of many traditional midranges, making it extremely comfortable for both backhand and forehand grips while delivering highly accurate, point-and-shoot results.
Is the Axiom Hex a good disc for beginners?
Yes, it is highly recommended! The Hex is one of the absolute best midranges a beginner can throw. Its neutral flight helps new players achieve straight, controllable distance while providing clear feedback on their release angles without aggressively fading out early.
How does the Neutron Hex compare to the Proton Hex?
While both are premium, highly durable plastics, the opaque Neutron blend is widely considered to fly the most true to the 5/5/-1/1 flight numbers. The translucent Proton Hex tends to mold up slightly stiffer and generally flies just a touch more overstable out of the box.
