How the Plasma Proxy handles on the course:
- Straight Putter Flight: Features a gentle high-speed turn paired with a minimal, forward-pushing finish, allowing it to fly straighter for longer.
- Glide-Focused Design: The combination of the Envy core's shallow feel and the Proxy's wide flight plate promotes extended carry, making it incredibly easy to push distance on approach shots.
- Wide Skill Appeal: The neutral stability makes it incredibly easy for lower-power throwers to keep straight, while remaining a highly workable, torque-resistant tool for experienced players.
The Plasma Plastic Advantage
Axiom’s Plasma plastic is a highly durable premium blend famous for its visually striking metallic sheen and color-shift properties. Beyond its looks, Plasma offers a slightly more flexible, semi-gummy feel compared to stiff Proton or standard Neutron blends. This yields exceptional grip for clean, confident releases from both the tee and the fairway, ensuring your Proxy maintains its intended flight path without beating in too quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Axiom Plasma Proxy compare to the Axiom Envy?
The Proxy and the Envy share the exact same low-profile core, meaning they feel identical in the hand. The difference lies in the outer GYRO overmold. The Envy (3/3/0/2) is designed for a dependable, overstable finish, while the Proxy (3/3.5/-1/0.5) is designed for a neutral, incredibly straight flight with a gentle, flat touchdown.
Is the Plasma Proxy a good disc for beginners?
Absolutely. The Proxy's subtle high-speed turn, minimal fade, and glide-focused design make it incredibly easy for lower-power throwers to achieve a straight flight path. It is highly recommended as a first throwing putter or approach disc.
