How the Mega Glo Cicada elevates your game:
- The Ultimate Tunnel Shooter: The combination of a -1 turn and 1 fade allows the disc to fly incredibly straight, navigating narrow wooded tracks with ease.
- Hyzer-Flip Machine: Intermediate and advanced arms will find the Cicada easily flips to flat from a hyzer angle, gliding for massive distance before a gentle finish.
- Night Round Superiority: The Mega Glo plastic charges quickly under a UV light and holds a brilliant glow, keeping you on the course long after the sun goes down.
The Mega Glo Plastic Advantage
Discraft's Mega Glo plastic combines the extreme, tree-kick durability of standard Z Line with an advanced, high-intensity photoluminescent compound. This results in a disc that can take heavy impacts in the woods without losing its factory flight characteristics, all while glowing brighter and longer than standard baseline glow plastics. Because it shares the dense properties of Z Line, players often find Mega Glo runs to hold their "sweet spot" for a remarkably long time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Mega Glo Cicada good for beginners?
Yes, it is a fantastic fairway driver for newer players! The 7-speed rim is very easy to grip and get up to speed, while the immense 6-glide helps the disc stay in the air for extra distance. Its neutral flight path helps beginners learn angle control.
How does the Cicada compare to other discs on the market?
Players frequently compare the Cicada's comfortable, slightly shallow profile and straight flight path to the Axiom Rhythm or a perfectly seasoned Innova Leopard3. It fills that essential "straight-to-slightly-understable" 7-speed slot perfectly.
How long does the Mega Glo plastic glow?
Mega Glo is one of Discraft's premium photoluminescent blends. When charged with a quality UV flashlight, it glows exceptionally bright and holds its charge long enough to easily locate your disc during night rounds in the woods.
