Innova Proto Glow Champion Eagle L 7 | 4 | -1 | 2

The Proto Glow Champion Eagle L is Sofia Donnecke's 2026 Tour Series disc. The Eagle L is the straighter version of the Eagle. It has the same speed and feel, but it fades less at the end, so it's easier to hold a straight line and it doesn't dump out as hard. This run is in a firm Champion glow blend you can throw at night. Flight Numbers

At 7 | 4 | -1 | 2, the Eagle L is a straighter version of the Eagle. The 7 speed means you don't have to throw it as hard as a distance driver, and the 4 glide carries it a good distance. The -1 turn gives it a little drift when you throw it hard and flat, and the 2 fade gives it a softer finish than the regular Eagle's 3 fade.

Speed Glide Turn Fade
7 4 -1 2

The Eagle L delivers:

  • Straight Flight: Throw it flat and it holds a straight line with just a little drift.
  • Softer Finish: The 2 fade lets it finish gently instead of dumping out hard, so it's easier to stay in the fairway.
  • Easy to Shape: It holds hyzer, flat and gentle anhyzer lines without fighting you.

It excels at:

  • Straight tunnel shots and tight wooded fairways
  • Controlled drives where you don't want a hard fade at the end
  • Players who want an Eagle that's a little more neutral

The Proto Glow Champion Plastic Advantage

Proto Glow Champion is Innova's Champion plastic with glow mixed in. It's firm and durable, so this Eagle L keeps its flight for a long time. Charge it with a flashlight or UV light and it glows for night rounds. Like regular Champion, it can feel a little slick when it's cold or wet.

How the Eagle L Fits in the Innova Lineup

  • Vs the DUO Eagle: Calvin Heimburg's 2026 Tour Series Eagle. A flatter, stiffer, more overstable run with a much stronger finish than the Eagle L.
  • Vs the Proto Glow Champion Eagle: The regular Eagle (7 | 4 | -1 | 3) in Gregg Barsby's 2026 Tour Series glow run, with a stronger fade than the Eagle L.
  • Vs the Halo Star Eagle L: The limited Fourth of July Eagle L in grippy Halo Star plastic. This run is noticeably flat.
  • Vs the Champion Eagle: The regular Eagle (7 | 4 | -1 | 3) in firm Champion plastic. It has a stronger fade than the Eagle L and stays stable the longest.
  • Vs the Innova Champion Teebird: The Teebird (7 | 5 | 0 | 2) has the same fade but more glide and less turn, so it flies straighter and floats more. The Eagle L has a little more turn for shaping shots.
  • Vs the Innova Champion TL: The TL is a flat, very straight fairway driver with an even softer finish. It's the pick when you want almost no fade at all.
  • Vs the Latitude 64 Explorer: The Explorer (7 | 5 | 0 | 2) is a straight fairway driver with a little more glide and less turn. The Eagle L has a touch more drift on a hard throw.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Innova Eagle L

How does the Innova Proto Glow Champion Eagle L feel in the hand?

The Eagle L has the Eagle's slim fairway driver feel. Unlike the stock Eagle X mold, it doesn't have the small bead along the bottom of the rim, so it releases a little more smoothly. Proto Glow Champion is firm and smooth in the hand.

How does the Innova Proto Glow Champion Eagle L handle wind and power?

It's a bit more neutral than the regular Eagle. The -1 turn gives it a little drift on a hard, flat throw and the 2 fade gives it a softer finish. In headwinds it will turn more than a stock Eagle, so it's better for calm days and controlled lines.

Does the Innova Proto Glow Champion Eagle L break in over time?

Slowly. Proto Glow Champion is tough like regular Champion, so it takes a long time to beat in. Over many rounds it gets a little straighter.
